Privacy Policy
Game Recall ("the app", "we", "us") is a slowpitch softball scoring and statistics app operated by Stataholics LLC. This policy explains what information the app collects, how it is used, and the choices you have. By using Game Recall you agree to this policy.
Information we collect
- Account information. When you sign in with Google or with Apple, we receive your name, email address, and an account identifier through Firebase Authentication. This is used to identify your account and associate the data you create with you. If you use Sign in with Apple and choose to hide your email address, Apple sends us a private relay address instead — we never receive your real one.
- Browsing as a guest. Much of the app works without an account. Guests are given an anonymous identifier so the teams they follow stay put on that device; no name or email address is collected unless you later choose to sign in, at which point anything you were following carries over to your new account.
- Content you create. Teams, rosters, player names and jersey numbers, schedules, game events, statistics, and chat messages you enter are stored so the app can function and sync across devices.
- Diagnostics. If the app encounters an error, we collect crash and performance data (such as error messages, the screen you were on, and basic device/browser information) through Sentry to diagnose and fix problems. So we can trace an issue back to a specific session, these reports may be associated with your account identifier, name, and email.
Game Recall does not contain advertising, and we do not sell your personal information.
How we use information
- To provide and operate the app and sync your data across devices.
- To display team rosters, schedules, live games, and statistics.
- To diagnose crashes and improve reliability and performance.
How information is stored and shared
Data is stored using Google Firebase (Authentication and Cloud Firestore) on Google Cloud infrastructure. Diagnostic data is processed by Sentry. These providers process data on our behalf under their own security and privacy terms. We do not share your information with any other third parties except as required by law.
Shared and public content
Game managers can share a link to a live or completed game. Anyone with that link can view the game's scores, play-by-play, and the player names and statistics shown on it, without signing in. Only share game links with people you intend to give access to.
Children's privacy
Game Recall is intended for use by team managers, players, and fans, and is not directed to children under 13. Rosters may include the names and jersey numbers of players who are minors; these are entered by team managers, who are responsible for having the appropriate permission to do so. We do not knowingly collect personal information directly from children.
Your choices and data deletion
You can permanently delete your account from within the app at any time: go to Settings → Delete account. This removes your account along with the name and email we store, and unlinks you from any player profile you had claimed. To preserve team records, deleting your account does not delete game history or statistics — a player profile you claimed simply becomes unclaimed, and the player and their stats remain with the team.
Owners can also delete teams and games they created from within the app, which removes the associated data. For any other access or deletion request, contact us at the email below.
If you no longer have the app installed, you can still request deletion: see Delete Your Account for the steps, and for exactly what is removed and what is kept.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by the "Last updated" date above.
